Los Angeles, Nov 13 (IANS) Four years after the final instalment of the "Harry Potter" movie franchise, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II", was released, actor was presented with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 26-year-old actor was honoured with the star on Thursday.
Radcliffe looked dapper in a gray gingham check suit. He completed his look with black tie and shoes of the same hue. He looked all smiles while receiving the 2,565th star on the Walk of Fame. It is situated in front of the Dolby Theatre here.
"It’s really an incredible honour. We (British) have a national embarrassment about people saying nice things about us, so I was taken aback at first but then I had a real sense of gratitude. Only about 20 percent of people who work in film and television end up on the Walk of Fame," Radcliffe told variety.com.
"It's kind of amazing. I don't know if they remove these things, but no matter how badly I mess up, they can't remove it," added Radcliffe.
Regarding his future career in the film industry, the actor said he wanted to go behind the cameras.
"I would like to direct at some time. I've worked with some amazing directors and learned from them," he said.
