“Comedy with No Horror” Template loving Telugu movie directors found a new template. While Kona-Vaitla comedy has been beaten to the pulp, now they found new template Horror movie with only comedy and zero horror.
Story: A village girl, Tripura (Swathi Reddy), who sees the future through dreams meets Chandra (Naveen Chandra) and eventually get married to him and moves to the city. Then she dreams of killing her husband. To know why she had that dream, you have to watch the movie.
Acting: Swathi was excellent in a matured woman, contrary to her bubbly colors Swathi image. Naveen Chandra was successful in creating the curiosity on his character. Pooja Ramachandra was good enough but has a shorter role. Saptagiri is the highlight of the movie with his funny traits.
Techincal: Director Raj Kiran, who earlier film Geetanjali was a hit went back to the same template with a little horror and more comedy. Due to a routine story and he wasted a lot of time in establishing the characters and filled the void with comedy. Few twists here and there helped. Music by Kamaran is passable. Production values are good for a small budget movie.
Analysis: The comedy is good but a lot of dragging scenes for establishing all the characters makes one exhausted.
