Los Angeles, Oct 29 (IANS) Actor Bradley Cooper says he always loved the art of cooking and aspired to be a chef someday, adding that he got a chance to live his dream through his forthcoming film "Burnt".
In the John Wells directorial, Cooper plays the role of Adam Jones, a chef who destroys his career with drugs and his high-handedness. He cleans up and returns to London, determined to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars.
I grew up watching 'The Frugal Gourmet' and Julia Childs on TV. My mother would always have the cooking shows on TV. I always loved being around food and our family would go to the big buffets in Philadelphia with the chef wearing the big white hat, any uniform looked cool to me.
"So, I wanted to be a chef, and a soldier, and a ninja and an actor," Cooper said.
Apart from Cooper, the film also stars Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Uma Thurman and Jamie Dornan. And it will hit the screens in India on Friday.
