Telangana CM Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao instructed the officials to pay 21% of profits of Singareni Collieries as Bonus to the workers. CM also directed officials not to deduct Profession Tax from Singareni workers henceforth.
This year, Singareni has earned a profit of Rs 491 Crores, of which Rs 103 Crores would be paid to the workers as Bonus.
